Job Title: Senior Fire Investigations Manager

Forensic Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Investigations Manager to lead our Western Canada team. As a key member of our Fire and Electrical Group, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, conducting site examinations, and preparing technical reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to grow market share and client relationships
  • Manage client service deadlines, budgeting, and invoicing
  • Conduct site examinations and document reviews, and communicate findings to clients and colleagues
  • Prepare technical reports and ensure they meet high standards of quality
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to consult with clients and perform examinations, testing, and analysis
Requirements:
  • Minimum of years' experience in senior project management and fire investigations
  • Current registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC and APEGA
  • Current Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) certification
  • Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards, such as NFPA and NFPA
Competencies and Attributes:
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent technical writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team
