About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Localization QA Tester to join our team at PTW, a global services company that collaborates with video game developers and publishers through outsourced production services.

As a Localization QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of video games in Simplified Chinese, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proofread and identify Simplified Chinese language errors in video games
  • Ensure console manufacturer guidelines are met
  • Write reports of all errors and bugs found to help improve the game
  • Provide feedback on the game to ensure it meets the required standards
  • Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure the game runs smoothly
  • Perform ad hoc translations as required
Requirements
  • Native-level proficiency in Simplified Chinese is mandatory
  • Strong cultural understanding of China
  • Excellent proficiency in English is essential for working with international clients
  • Basic proficiency in French is required for communication and collaboration
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
