We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Functional Safety team at CS Group Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of system-level hazard analysis, ensuring traceability of potential safety issues throughout the safety architecture, requirements, implementation, verification, and validation, leading to a comprehensive and closed-loop safety case.

You will work closely with senior leaders from cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, vehicle engineering, operations, human factors, program management office, legal, and policy, to establish close collaboration and build trusting relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, with experience working at the system process level and familiarity with standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, and ISO 21434.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning of multiple workstreams necessary for the Safety Case at each project milestone.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of system-level hazard analysis, ensuring traceability of potential safety issues throughout the safety architecture, requirements, implementation, verification, and validation, leading to a comprehensive and closed-loop safety case.
  • Lead the Risk Management Program across various milestones, monitoring all potential safety issues and driving them to resolution.
  • Represent the System Safety team during key program review meetings.
  • Ensure coordination among engineering teams, clarify priorities, and ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of corporate milestones.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in automotive engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
  • 5+ years experience in program management in automotive, aerospace or other relevant industries.
  • Experience working at system process level.
  • Familiar with at least one of these standards: ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, ISO 21434.
