Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our collaborative practice in Digby, Nova Scotia. As a member of our team, you will provide comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring a continuum of care with other healthcare providers within the practice and community.
- Be accountable for your workload and practice, operating within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
- Work towards same-day or next-day access for the practice population, collaborating with other team members to best suit the community's health needs.
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities, utilizing an electronic medical record (EMR) to record patient details.
- Enjoy a guaranteed APP daily rate or fee-for-service, with no overhead.
- Minimum of 25-30 scheduled daily appointments, with flexibility to choose dates convenient for you and your family.
- Complimentary access to a furnished apartment, provided by the Digby & Area Health Services Centre Charitable Foundation.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
