About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Financial Advisory Services to provide sound, timely financial advice to the Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client department budgets, reporting expenditures and forecasts, and preparing year-end financial audit information.

Responsibilities
  • Manage client department budgets, including expenditure, revenue, and capital budgets
  • Accurately report departmental expenditures and monthly forecasts
  • Prepare client department year-end financial audit information
  • Provide financial analysis and advice on complex issues
  • Evaluate and improve financial processes, focusing on internal controls and risk management
  • Lead, coach, and mentor budget and financial staff on performance management, training, and development
Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in business administration or commerce, along with a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA), and several years of progressive financial management and supervisory experience. An acceptable equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
