Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Security Python Engineer to help us drive our DevOps to DevSecOps transformation and cultural shift. In this role, you'll work closely with various stakeholders and teams to develop our future DevSecOps pipeline/state across the bank.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Integrate static application security testing and software composition analysis tools and processes within our centralized pipelines.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the future DevSecOps pipeline/state across the bank.
  3. Perform DevSecOps maturity assessments for application teams.
  4. Provide support and consulting services around security automation and processes.
  5. Help improve the developer experience around AppSec processes.
  6. Influence behavior to reduce risk and foster a strong technology risk management culture.
  7. Define, develop, implement, and manage standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and maximize security.
  8. Manage relationships with other technology/business/corporate/control functions.
Requirements
  1. Strong Python scripting ability - proficient in Python.
  2. Understanding of development methodologies and secure software development lifecycle.
  3. Demonstrated ability to participate in projects of moderate to high complexity.
  4. Developer experience and understanding of development processes with modern programming/scripting languages.
  5. Knowledge and understanding of application security testing (DAST, SAST, SCA, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  1. 4+ years of relevant experience within Development, DevOps/DevSecOps, or Application Security.
  2. Ability to triage and review technical security vulnerabilities.
  3. Information Security Certification / Accreditation.
  4. Advanced knowledge of one or more technology controls or security domains.
  5. Experience with information security controls, policies, processes, and industry standards.
