About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Atlantic Roll Forming Inc. as a key member of our construction and engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and estimate costs
  • Develop and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms to clients
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates and project timelines
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability
  • Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors for future reference
Requirements
  • College or CEGEP education
  • 2-3 years of experience in estimating or a related field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
