We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Photonics Simulation Engineer to join our team at ANSYS, Inc.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in photonics simulation. As an Advanced Photonics Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing automation workflows for photonic component design and data collection.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need to have a passion for photonics and software development, as well as proficient programming skills with Python. Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are also essential.
What We OfferAs an employee of ANSYS, Inc., you can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop automation workflows for photonic component design and data collection.
- Support development and verification of new features and performance improvements within Lumerical's simulation framework.
- PhD or Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field, with a focus on photonics and/or electronics.
- Experience with developing automation workflows in Python.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
