Merry Pop Ins Childcare Centre Inc is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our childcare centre.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to work with our team of experienced educators. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Responsibilities:- Assess children's development and create individualized learning plans
- Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Lead activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings
- Assist with daily routines, such as bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including cleaning and organizing the childcare area
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and move children as needed
