Job Summary:

Volunteer Manitoba is seeking a skilled Publicity Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for promoting our events, programs, and communications through various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a publicity strategy to increase awareness of our organization and its initiatives.
  2. Collaborate with our Board of Directors, Sub-Committees, and Club General Manager to ensure timely and accurate announcements and community updates.
  3. Update our website periodically to ensure relevant and accurate information is shared with the community.
  4. Attend monthly board meetings and club-initiated events.

Requirements:

No special skills required; training will be provided. However, being social media savvy, personable, approachable, and organized will be an asset.

Benefits:

As a Publicity Director, you will have a seat on our Board of Directors, giving you a voice in how our organization moves forward. You will also gain experience in social media marketing, written communications, and community service.
