Food Preparation and Service Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Food Preparation and Service Associate to join our team at BC LTD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to our customers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load buspans and trays with food and supplies
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used
  • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Take customers' orders and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
  • Handle and store cleaning products and receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash and sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
  • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit

Work Environment: This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. You must be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
