Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical systems, using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Adjust and Repair Parts and Components: Use precision tools and techniques to repair or replace faulty parts and components.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Ensure that all repaired systems meet manufacturer specifications and are functioning properly.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Provide accurate estimates for vehicle maintenance and repairs, taking into account parts and labour costs.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
    • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail when inspecting and testing mechanical units.
    • Manual Dexterity: Use precision tools and equipment to repair and adjust parts and components.
    • Work Term: Permanent position.
    • Work Language: English.
    • Hours: 40 hours per week.
