Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist to join our Medical Imaging Department at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. This is a permanent part-time position (0.74 FTE) with rotating evening shifts. The successful candidate will perform special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, under the direction of a Radiologist. They will assist Radiologists during procedures, input patient-specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS, and provide direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography relevant to the designated specialty area
  • Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
