Job Summary

The Service Technician is a key member of our team at Sani Marc, responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for equipment and systems. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service, and replace or repair electromechanical devices and systems.
  • Dismantle, inspect, and replace electromechanical equipment and replace defective electrical and mechanical parts.
  • Perform mechanical skills, including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain sanitizing equipment and plant facility's equipment supplied by Sani Marc.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance per established PM program.
  • Provide value-added after-sales service and perform problem-solving.
  • Perform repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of cleaning chemical systems in Food & Beverage plants.
  • Travel to the location of our customers.
  • Help other departments through internal work.
  • Diagnose problems, determine corrective action, and undertake repair.
  • Manage service calls and examine the customer's requirements.

Requirements

  • Proficient in electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
  • Experience in maintenance and/or maintaining food service equipment preferred.
  • Experience in mobile onsite service preferred.
  • Know how to work in a team, demonstrate initiative, and be solutions-oriented.
  • Have good communication skills and be customer-oriented.
  • Be incredibly organized and understand processes thoroughly.
  • Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • All applicants must take a mechanical/electrical aptitude test during the initial interview.
