We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at HelloFresh. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and shipment of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Product Receipt and Storage: Receive and unload incoming shipments of food products, packaging, and supplies, verifying the accuracy and quality of the shipment against the packing slip and invoice or purchase order.
- Inventory Management: Count and weigh items as per standard operating procedures to verify the information on the shipment documents, and label, tag, and store items in their designated location(s) in the warehouse according to food safety and inventory procedures.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts and update inventory records in the warehouse management system to ensure inventory accuracy and reduce inventory buildup.
- Quality Control: Identify quality issues with incoming product and work collaboratively with the teams to ensure that only the best products are accepted into our facility.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Shipping and Receiving: Prepare ship out documents and ensure the ship out is completed within the time limit.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of warehouse experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or service industry.
- Skills: Familiar with MS Office and/or Google Apps, comfortable learning new technologies, and ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
- Physical Demands: Willing and able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs, and work in a refrigerated and freezer environment (-20°C to 4°C).
