Critical Care Flight Nurse

At STARS, we are committed to providing exceptional critical care services to those in need. As a Flight Nurse, you will be an integral part of our team, working alongside a Transport Physician to provide highly specialized care to critically ill or injured patients.
Position Overview
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill and expertise. As a Flight Nurse, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in a variety of settings, including helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, and ground ambulances.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in a variety of settings, including helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, and ground ambulances.
- Work alongside a Transport Physician to provide highly specialized care to critically ill or injured patients.
- Support the Clinical Operations Team on projects involving quality, safety, and critical care protocols.
- Demonstrate patient-centric philosophy and effectively interact with diverse populations.
- Be an effective team player with the ability to collaborate with other professionals within a multidisciplinary team.
- Able to competently prepare complex patient care records and communicate technical terminology and methodology to team members.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills essential for communicating within the STARS organization.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse.
- Valid CPR certificate.
- Current certification of STARS Advanced Skills Institute (ASI) and education requirements in good standing.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of extensive experience in advanced care in a critical care environment.
