We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team at Coquitlam Upholstery Shop Ltd. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting machine operators, assemblers, and other workers in our furniture upholstery and repair shop.
Key Responsibilities- Check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products efficiently and safely.
- Assist machine operators and assemblers with tasks and projects.
- Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure quality work.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Ability to work up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and meet the physical demands of the role.
- Punctuality, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.
Our team works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week, and the opportunity to work in a team-oriented setting.
