Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at m-Health Solutions Inc. as a key member of our IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and mainframe networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.
  • Network Monitoring: Perform routine network start up and close down, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Network Optimization: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.
  • Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts, and research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise technical staff and respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in network administration.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Internet, MS Office, and spreadsheet software.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail required.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
