Woodworking Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Craftsman to join our team at Winmar. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and maintaining various structures.

• Average salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location

The ideal candidate will have 1-6 months of experience in the trade, a secondary school diploma or equivalent, and excellent physical abilities to work in a fast-paced environment with heavy lifting and bending.

1. Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements
2. Prepare layouts according to building codes using measuring tools
3. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, steel, and other materials
4. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
5. Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
6. Evaluate costs and material needs
7. Maintain, repair, and renovate homes and wooden structures in various establishments

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-6 months of experience in woodworking or a related field
• Excellent physical abilities, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
