Job Title: Staff Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Staff Design Engineer to join our team at Synopsys, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Staff Design Engineer will lead a team of engineers to develop a Test Chip PHY IP for DDR/HBM/UCIe protocols. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work on mixed-signal IPs with focus on digital design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers to develop a Test Chip PHY IP for DDR/HBM/UCIe protocols.
  • Develop and implement digital design methodologies and flows for mixed-signal IPs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design implementation meets project requirements.
  • Perform RTL synthesis, place and route, and timing closure ECOs using Synopsys tools.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation and technical reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in digital design and implementation.
  • Experience with Synopsys tools and mixed-signal IP design.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
