Pioneer Community Living Association (PCLA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing innovative housing and support services to individuals with mental illness.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our organizational goals.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Manage employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and policy compliance.
- Develop and update human resources policies and procedures.
- Support staff wellness and safety programs.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement strategic plans and operational policies.
Requirements
- Education in HR with at least three years of progressive HR experience and one year of management/supervisory experience.
- CPHR designation is a preferred asset.
- Experience in a unionized environment working with collective agreements.
- Knowledge of employment legislation.
- Experience with ADP HR/Benefit and Workforce programs is an asset.
- Successful clearance of an Enhanced Criminal Record Check.
