Job Description

At ANNA DEOFERIO, we are seeking a skilled Childcare Specialist to join our team. As a Childcare Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants and children in a family setting.

Responsibilities
  • Education: Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.
  • Experience: Assist with daily activities, such as bath time, meal preparation, and playtime.
  • Work Setting: Ensure the home is tidy and organized, maintaining a scent-free and non-smoking environment.
  • Tasks: Perform light housekeeping, bathe and dress children, and prepare nutritious meals.
  • Target Audience: Supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children, promoting social development and emotional well-being.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct background checks and ensure the children's safety at all times.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available for employees.
  • Weight Handling: Lift up to 20 lbs (9 kg) as needed.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on client care and flexibility.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
