Job Overview

At LED GIANT, we are seeking an Employment Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying staffing requirements, preparing job postings, and coordinating the selection process.

Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing needs and prepare job postings that accurately reflect the requirements of the role.
  • Screen and evaluate applicants to determine their suitability for the position, taking into account factors such as education, experience, and personal qualities.
  • Coordinate the selection process, including interviews and assessments, to ensure that the most suitable candidate is selected for the role.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and staff, to ensure that staffing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide guidance and support to new employees to facilitate their transition into the organization and ensure their success in their role.
Requirements
  • Educational background: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.

  • Judgement and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
