Westpark IDA Drugs is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Aide to join our team. As a Pharmacy Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, maintaining inventories of medications, and supporting pharmacists in their daily tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Prescription Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of prescription information to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
  • Pharmacist Support: Assist pharmacists in their daily tasks, including preparing medications for clients and maintaining prescription records.
  • Client Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, answering their questions and addressing their concerns.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of the pharmacy.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer software.
