Job Title: Environmental Field Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Field Technician to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of field operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct soil sampling and monitoring activities at oil and gas sites, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Operate various types of field monitoring equipment, including GPS, data loggers, and survey levels.
  • Supervise drillers and contractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Complete detailed site assessments and reports, utilizing expertise in environmental science and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project coordinators and managers to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.
  • Perform wellsite reclamation, including site contouring, decompaction, and topsoil placement.
  • Mentor and provide technical support to junior field staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in civil, environmental, chemical, geological engineering, reclamation, plant biology, or similar programs.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in environmental field operations.
  • Valid driver's license and experience driving on wellsite access roads.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, lifting, and working in adverse weather conditions.
