About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to initiatives that promote quality, empowerment, productivity, achievement, and ongoing workforce development. As an HR Business Partner, you'll provide expert guidance on HR matters through coaching, facilitation, and coordination of services.
Key Responsibilities- Advise managers on disciplinary matters, identify complex high-risk employee relations issues, and escalate to Directors when appropriate.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent HR in weekly manager and operations meetings.
You'll have the opportunity to work closely with our leadership team to address HR challenges from a broad, systemic perspective. Your deep understanding of HR functions and operational needs will enable you to provide strategic guidance and support company goals.
Requirements- Degree in HR Management and/or Business Management, combined with a minimum of three years of recent experience in HR.
- Knowledge of BC labour laws and familiarity with legislation and requirements for hiring foreign workers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service orientation.
