Bakery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at Veg Delight Pizza Bakery & Restaurant Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our bakery, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and taste.
Key Responsibilities- Product Preparation: Supervise the preparation of dough, batters, and icings for our various baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our products meet established standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Operations Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and minimize downtime.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that our products are consistently of high quality and that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for baking and customer service.
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work a 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as needed.
