Cloud Security Architect

NielsenIQ is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our growing cybersecurity team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating, deploying, and managing tools, processes, and procedures to secure cloud applications across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide security recommendations for cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS architecture roadmaps, including baseline security controls and hardening requirements.
  • Define and enforce security guardrails that protect workloads while maintaining deployment agility.
  • Collaborate with the Security Operations Center to define monitoring requirements for cloud-based systems and applications.
  • Partner with architecture teams on Web Application Firewall (WAF) and API security protection patterns.
  • Contribute to the security champions program by providing expertise and training on cloud infrastructure security.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud security and infrastructure.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, and Terraform.
  • Microsoft Azure Security, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or GCP certifications are a plus.
  • Self-starter with a passion for technology, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated engagement in security conferences, training, and continuous learning is highly desirable.
