Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at 1 Stop Meat & Tandoori Hut. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Work a permanent schedule with 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Meet the education requirement of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Participate in a government or community program that supports newcomers and refugees.
- Assist with immediate settlement needs, such as housing and transportation.
- Support social and labour market integration through language training and skills development.
- Participate in a government or community program that supports youth employment.
- Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Provide mentorship and coaching opportunities for youth.
- Participate in a government or community program that supports Veterans.
- Offer mentorship and coaching opportunities for Veterans.
- Provide awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Participate in a government or community program that supports Indigenous people.
- Offer mentorship and coaching opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Develop relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations.
- Participate in a government or community program that supports mature workers.
- Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
- Provide awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Participate in a government or community program that supports visible minorities.
- Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities.
- Offer mentorship programs that pair visible minorities with experienced employees.
