At Alberta Health Services, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with an interprofessional healthcare team to advance patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Providing safe and effective patient care, guided by education, experience, and AHS policies and procedures
  • Participating in the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Responding to patient needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:



  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
