Meech Holdings Ltd is seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and other equipment, using your technical skills and knowledge to resolve issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures.
  • Assist with other maintenance and repair tasks as required, including painting and drywall repair.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance and repair role.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in all weather conditions, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
