Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners by installing metal corner beads.
  • Fabricate and Install Suspended Metal Ceiling Grids: Create and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill Joints and Nail Indentations: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, Cut, and Install Drywall Sheets: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a proper fit.
  • Position and Secure Sheets: Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Smooth Out Excess Compound: Smooth out excess compound and allow it to dry.
  • Tape Over Joints: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
