Job Title: Interior Designer

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Julie Charbonneau Design Inc. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet the needs of our clients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in interior design, with experience in estimating costs, preparing detailed specifications, and working in a multidisciplinary environment. You will be responsible for collaborating with clients to determine their needs and preferences, and developing detailed plans and 3-D models to bring their vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs of projects and prepare detailed specifications
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs
  • Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and consult with clients to determine their needs and preferences
  • Develop plans, elevations, cross sections, and detailed drawings
  • Advise on selection of colours, finishes, and materials, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in interior design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, InDesign, and MS Excel
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
