We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Data Solutions Expert to lead the design and implementation of our cloud-based data infrastructure. This role requires expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services to effectively manage and process large-scale datasets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement scalable and secure data architectures on GCP to support business intelligence and machine learning applications.
  • Data Warehousing and Analytics: Build and optimize data warehouses on Google BigQuery for efficient data analysis and reporting.
  • ETL/ELT Development: Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes using GCP tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Strong proficiency in GCP data services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and DataBricks.
  • Cloud Architecture: Experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based architectures.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or Java for data processing and pipeline development.
  • SQL: Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree: In Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams.
