We are seeking an experienced orthopaedic surgeon to join our team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. The ideal candidate will have subspecialty training in arthroplasty, trauma, or hand and wrist, and will be able to operate at our hospital and establish an elective practice in the Trail/Rossland area.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to teach medical students and residents during their orthopaedic surgery rotations. Additionally, you will be expected to work as a locum for a determined period of time to become familiar with the team, work site, and community.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join an existing practice with four orthopaedic surgeons, sharing overhead costs and office space. The West Kootenay region offers a unique blend of outdoor recreation and community amenities, making it an attractive location for medical professionals.

As a general orthopaedic surgeon in Trail, you will earn a competitive salary based on a fee-for-service model and MOCAP level 1.
