The Maintenance Supervisor is a key role at Fantasyland Hotel, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations and ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and safe for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage maintenance budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds and materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.
- Perform other duties as required to support the maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of Fantasyland Hotel.
- At least 5 years' experience in a maintenance or supervisory role in a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems and Microsoft Office products.
- WHMIS certification or willingness to attend required training.
- Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
- This is a full-time position that requires a shift schedule including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs.
- This is a salaried position that will depend on experience and qualifications.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
