Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at Wheel Truck and Trailer Repair Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, discussing work with supervisors, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units and test them to specifications.
  • Discuss Work with Supervisor: Collaborate with supervisors to discuss work orders and estimate parts and labor costs.
  • Provide Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete Reports: Record problems and work performed in detailed reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Site Environment: Dusty and noisy work site environment.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
