We're seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team and support one of the world's biggest advertisement platforms serving billions of daily impressions. As a key member of our team, you'll work on architecting, developing, and maintaining microservices, APIs, and applications built around PHP and Laravel framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure backend systems using PHP and Laravel.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain efficient applications and components, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of learning and growth.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a backend software developer, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of a web language (PHP, Java Web, Python, GO, etc.).
  • Understanding of computational and data complexity, scalability, security, and applicable design patterns.
  • Ability to architect, build, and own efficient applications and components.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with PHP alongside a framework (Lumen, Yii, Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
  • Experience with Docker, ELK, RabbitMQ, Redis, and GitlabCI.
  • Strong knowledge of database technologies to scale for high-volume web sites (Redis, Memcached).
  • Experience in dealing with large-scale websites that receive millions of visits per day.
