Job Title: Sales Associate

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at VM MOBITECH INC. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining sales records for inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice about merchandise to customers
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control
  • Assist in displaying merchandise and conducting sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease
Requirements:
  • Will train
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
  • Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
Work Environment:
  • Permanent position
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language
