Your Opportunity

Our Markham office is seeking a Manager to join the Domestic Tax practice and lead client engagements for a wide variety of clients, including small and medium enterprises. The successful candidate will identify and develop strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, prepare and review tax reorganizations, and build positive working relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements and develop strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities
  • Prepare and review tax reorganizations and corporate, trust, partnership, and personal tax returns
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and communicate effectively with team members
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team

Requirements

  • CPA designation
  • 5 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 2 years
  • Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
