About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Golden BlueBirds Home Health-Care Services. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Assist clients with medication administration, ensuring accurate and timely dosing.
  • Perform other related tasks as required, working collaboratively with the care team to achieve optimal client outcomes.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
