We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and technical expertise in MRI services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of tests relating to MRI, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to staff in MRI areas, promoting efficient and safe care.
  • Develop and implement MRI-specific policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in Quality Assurance and Quality Control of equipment and computer systems.
  • Participate in education and training programs, maintaining competence in MRI practice.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • 5 years of full-time recent experience in MRI in a hospital environment, with experience in MRI of MSK, Neuro, Body, Breast, and Breast Biopsies required.
  • Experience in working in other Diagnostic Imaging modalities preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Obligations under the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Acceptable performance and attendance records.
  • Registered with CMRITO and maintain registry status by obtaining required continuing education credits yearly.
  • Registered with CAMRT preferred.
  • Courses/Certification in Leadership required.
  • MRSO Certification required.
