Essential Responsibilities:

As an Automotive Service Technician at Northern Lights Ford, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicles. This will involve:

  • Inspecting vehicles to identify problems and determining the necessary repairs

  • Using advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues with vehicle systems

  • Replacing or repairing faulty components, including parts and labor

  • Testing and adjusting repaired systems to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications

  • Estimating costs for repairs and communicating with customers about the work to be done

Licenses and Certifications:

You must hold an Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, and be familiar with various areas of specialization, including engine repair, 4-wheel drive, electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, diagnostics, alignment, steering and suspension, brake system, fuel and emission system, ignition and electrical system, automatic transmission, and drive train components.
