Job Title: Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at Guest Plumbing and Heating. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet project deadlines and budgets
  • Select trade subcontractors and prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, as well as hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems, read blueprint, schemas, and drawings, and plan and manage budgets
  • Develop and implement quality control programs, develop risk management plans, and oversee the analysis of data and information
  • Prepare reports and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as efficient interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail
