Job Title: Welder

Payless Sand and Gravel Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal parts and equipment.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. The work will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a variety of weather conditions.
