Job Title: Permanent Programmer Analyst

The Near North District School Board is seeking a skilled Permanent Programmer Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to meet the needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC 5, and Entity Framework 6
  • Work with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and other Microsoft technologies to create data-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop software solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development
Requirements:
  • Minimum three-year post-secondary diploma program in computer programming, computer science, or software engineering
  • 1-3 years of experience in a programmer/analyst role
  • Strong knowledge of and experience working with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and other Microsoft technologies
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a deadline-intensive, constantly changing environment
