We are seeking a skilled Pipefitting Technician to join our team at Ocean Dry Ent. dba Saanich Plumbing & Heating. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.

Requirements:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
