Handyman/Handyperson

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Woman to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, making adjustments and minor repairs to various systems, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our facilities.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Make contact with tradespersons for major repairs and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
• Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
• Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Basic security clearance and a criminal record check.
• Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The role requires the ability to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
