Job Title:

Elementary Teacher - Grade 4/5 French Immersion

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Elementary Teacher to join our team at the Simcoe County District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Grade 4/5 French Immersion students and contributing to a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Grade 4/5 French Immersion students and develop engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with curriculum developments
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario Teaching Certificate
  • Experience teaching Grade 4/5 French Immersion students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment
