Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative leader to join our team as a Vice Principal at the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the board's vision and mission, leading professional learning communities, and ensuring the success of all students in achieving the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage school-based or system-based leadership initiatives
  • Develop and implement strategies to build partnerships with Black, Indigenous, and racialized communities
  • Identify and respond to systemic barriers faced by Black, Indigenous, and racialized employees, students, and families
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote a culture of inclusivity and equity
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff to ensure the implementation of the Ontario Catholic School Level Leadership Framework
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Ontario Catholic School Level Leadership Framework, experience in leading professional learning communities, and a commitment to ensuring the success of all students.

Additionally, the candidate will have a minimum of five years of successful permanent teaching experience in at least two divisions, a Religious Education Part 1 AQ, and a current Ontario Teaching Certificate.
